In large companies, finding the right expertise often means asking around or already knowing the right person. PeopleMesh lets employees, managers and HR teams find colleagues, projects and internal opportunities by describing what they need. Search considers the meaning of the request, even when the words differ, and helps uncover expertise and connections beyond your own team.

What happens
behind the search?
PeopleMesh is a semantic search engine. During search, the LLM interprets your question and turns it into structured JSON, separating skills, preferences and constraints.
Requests and content are represented by embeddings: numerical vectors that describe their meaning. Cosine similarity measures how close they are, finding matches even when different words are used.
The engine ranks results by combining this similarity with filters and criteria such as skills and location. Results come from the organization’s data rather than a response written by a chatbot.
License
The PeopleMesh core is open source under Apache 2.0: you can use, modify and distribute it, including commercially, without license fees. You can install it on your own infrastructure and adapt it to your needs without having to publish your changes.
Mercurius Platform offers paid add-on components, integrations with company infrastructure and support. These offerings are separate from the open-source core: contact us to define the work needed and receive a quote.
